Past Creations

The Vermont Farmhouse Jr.

I wish I had more pictures of this house because it is such a lovely little home.  The white and natural wood exterior colors gave it a bright and happy feeling.  I paired it with black shingle roof and red brick deck to balance it out.  The interior had custom wallpaper and wainscote

This dollhouse is now with my granddaughter Daisy - It's one of her favorite things to play with!

Modified Allison Jr. into a front open dollhouse

I find beautiful pictures online all the time. It's hard to tell if they're real or AI but these three pictures gave me an idea for my newest creation.  I've wanted an open-faced dollhouse for quite a while but hadn't found one- So, I made one...  I chose to use the Allison Jr. kit from Real Good Toys to start the process.  I enlarged each window (not easy!) and added side windows, a screen porch in the kitchen and a bay window in the living room for more light.  A lot of time was spent trimming out the rough openings!! The house is completely wired for lighting, and I'm currently working on finishing the rooftop, decorating, and just wrapping up the details.  I will post updated pictures on my process. Enjoy!
